The work you do matters.

So should the way you do it.

Build a business with the same care you offer your patients -
with systems that support you, and a strategy that truly fits.

Why is Care a Craft?

And why is that important?

Care isn’t something you churn out—

it’s something you shape with presence, attention, and intention.

Like any craft, it takes time to refine. It’s built on skill, yes—but also on noticing, adapting, and staying close to what matters.

And right now, that kind of care is more essential than ever.

We’re living in a time of speed and noise—where automation is rising, connections can feel shallow, and we’re trapped on an endless treadmill of productivity.

Even in medicine, the pace is accelerating. Insurance models reward efficiency over depth, and clinicians are being squeezed to see more patients in less time. In the rush, we risk losing one of the most essential pieces of healing: true connection.

Many healers find themselves caught in a false choice-deliver meaningful care OR build a sustainable practice.

It’s easy to drift from why we chose this work in the first place. And many don’t just drift—they burn out entirely, leaving their calling behind when their practice’s demands overwhelm their capacity to care. But the need for genuine care—for depth, for trust, for human presence—isn’t going away. It’s growing.

Your practice can be a place where that still exists.

  • Where thoughtfulness lives in the small things.

  • Where intentional structure creates both room for connection and sustainable success.

  • Where your work feels like you, and your patients can feel that difference.

This is the craft that transforms in both directions—as you shape your practice with intention, your practice shapes you in return. In that reciprocity, we rediscover why we chose this path:
to heal and be healed by the practice of genuine care.

Who I Help

In my coaching, I work with clinicians and wellness practitioners who offer 1:1 care—clinicians who are deeply committed to their craft—but feel weighed down by the business side of their work.

  • Naturopathic Doctors

  • Acupuncturists

  • Functional Medicine Practitioners

  • Nurse Practitioners

  • Health Coaches

  • Somatic Therapists

  • Therapists

Maybe you’re just starting out and want to build something that reflects your values from the start. Or maybe you’ve been in practice for years but you’re tired of winging it and wondering if it’s supposed to feel this hard.

You care deeply. You’re willing to do the work. But you don’t want to hustle yourself into burnout—or build a business that doesn’t feel like you.

You want something sustainable, clear, and aligned.

That’s exactly what we create together.

What I Help With

Running a practice shouldn’t mean running yourself into the ground.

I help clinicians and wellness practitioners build businesses that reflect their care, their craft, and their capacity. Together, we clarify your services, refine your systems, and thoughtfully integrate tools like AI and automation—not to replace the human connection at the heart of your work, but to protect and deepen it.

Some things we might focus on together:

  • Clarifying your services and pricing with confidence

  • Streamlining patient communication and scheduling systems

  • Thoughtful integration of AI and automation to create ease

  • Designing workflows that protect your energy and focus

  • Building sustainable business structures that grow with you

  • Strengthening your messaging so your work resonates clearly

Whether you’re just starting out or restructuring an existing practice, my approach is about building a business that feels sustainable, spacious, and true to who you are.

I’m a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist. Using this unique integrative approach, I help midlife women reclaim their health, vitality, and balance.

I believe that real healing happens when we consider your whole self—your body, mind, and spirit—within the context of your unique life journey.

My approach is all about listening deeply, creating manageable treatment plans, and guiding you on your journey to long-term health.

FAQs

  • Dr. Katy sees patients in person at her clinic in Rockland, ME. The first step to becoming a patient is to schedule a FREE 15-minute discovery call here.

  • For more information about the cost of consultations, please schedule a discovery call.

Insurance does not directly cover the costs of the visit. However, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement if your plan covers out-of-network services for naturopathic medicine and/or acupuncture.

It is important to me to be able to work directly with my patients to support their health needs and goals. This direct relationship allows us to work together to craft an individualized plan that works for your life. Taking insurance would mean that I work for the insurance companies, who would then have a say in what types of work we can do together.

  • I have a special focus on the following areas:

Women's and hormonal health issues including fertility and preconception care, perimenopause and menopause, painful periods (PMS/PMDD), irregular periods, PCOS, thyroid issues, prenatal adjunctive care, and postpartum care for mothers.

Digestive issues including constipation, diarrhea, GERD, IBS/IBD, and gas/bloating.

Mental health issues including anxiety, depression, insomnia, and burnout.

  • I provide adjunctive integrative healthcare, meaning the care I provide is meant to supplement any primary care services you require. I request that my patients establish and maintain a relationship with a primary care provider.

  • While I don’t specialize in pediatrics, I will occasionally see children over the age of 5. We can use gentle, non-insertive acupuncture techniques that can help with a variety of concerns.

I refer out to other providers for requests to assist with childhood vaccines.

  • Elemental Health is intentionally structured as a signature program, following a framework that allows me to be the best doctor for you.

Research shows that regular follow-up visits are the only way to achieve the level of care that will truly transform your health. Customized maintenance care plans are available after the initial length of care.

  • Yes! In many cases, labs are part of the care plan. Depending on your insurance plan, some of the labs may even be covered.

I also work with several cash-based labs that offer competitive pricing. I can always provide price quotes before ordering lab work if you would like.

  • If you’re not sure, please contact us to ask about this!

If you are experiencing any of the following, please do NOT come into the clinic:

    Fever
    Cough
    Shortness of breath
    Sudden gastrointestinal upset
Sudden loss of taste or smell
Positive COVID-19 test within 10 days of your appointment
    Known recent exposure to COVID-19

If you have experienced any of the above, call us at (207) 466-4888 and we can discuss a plan to either do your visit via telehealth or reschedule your appointment.

It is important to me to minimize the spread of any contagious illness in my office. If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms that are not related to COVID-19, I will ask that you wear a mask during our appointment. I have plenty of extras at my office.

I thank you in advance for your cooperation!
